Missing artworks closes "Season of Flowers" show early: Reward Offered

Newton Open Studios regretfully has ended our "Season of Flowers" show early, due to the loss of 5 pieces of art. We would be very grateful for any information on the lost work. The show was held at the Newton Cultural Center, 225 Nevada Street, Newton, MA.

A Reward of up to $100 is offered for the small quilt, 18x16, signed and titled on the back: "Flora" by Diana Galson-Kooy

A Reward of up to $50 is offered for four unframed photographs by Howard Fineman: three Cactus prints, one Hummingbird print. All are signed and titled. They range from 8.5x11" to 11x14".

Due to the continuous high heat during July and early August, the pieces may have come loose from the display panels, and may have been moved to a different part of the building. They disappeared between August 4th and August 10th. Please contact us if you have any information on the lost pieces, or leave them in the office at the Newton Cultural Center, 225 Nevada St.
